Only a lifetime of supporting Championship soccer team Sheffield United could have prepared Ben Bergin for the sheer mind-numbing heart-ache of following the Cincinnati Bengals. This grounding in England however left him well prepared for the rollercoaster ride of disappointments and, well, more disappointments that the past two seasons have brought. Ben is an actor, director and writer in New York City and, as his first American football experience was the sheer tedium of the 2006 Superbowl (the highlight of which was Prince's God-like ability to control the weather at half-time for &lsquot;Purple Rain’) he had no idea how excruciating and exhilirating "football" was going to be for him.
