Biography
Bird Beat grew up just outside Philly, in Bucks County, PA, where at the age of 1 was initiated into the Eagles Sunday Ritual. His stepfather, the late Thomas F. Isett and father, Stephen V. Seidel, introduced him to the tailgate at an early age, in the comfort of their own homes. Sundays were all about pregames, fritos, Pepsi's for the youngsters, chips and dips, burgers and dogs, cheese steaks and fries with 'WIZ', and a loud envigorating cheer, E-A-G-L-E-S, EAGLES!. While in the background, the booming voice of Merrill Reese could be heard on 610 WIP, which today has been replaced by 94.1 WYSP with Mike Quick. Long story short; Buddy Ryan showed us Broad Street Marauders the brighter side of 'Gang Green' and Bird Beat never looked back. Go Birds!
