Dave Jacks is an up and coming actor/sketch comic living in New York City. Recently Verizon wireless got a taste of Dave and booked him for a national TV ad and print campaign. Heineken Light cast him as the lead in their new short film Sam's Tail, which is being shown at film festivals around the world and the IFC channel. Watch it online at Promotion Pictures. Dave has also appeared in numerous commercials including State Farm Insurance, Old Navy and a promo for the History Channel's new show "Lost Worlds." In February of 06 he produced and starred in the play "The Ends of the Earth" at the Sanford Misener Theater and the reviews were glowing. David has appeared in numerous plays throughout NYC. David has studied sketch comedy and improvisation at the Upright Citizens Brigade while honing his acting craft at the Terry Schreber Studio and now the MTB studio.
