Biography

Rhonda hails from New Castle, PA, and has been a Steelers fan since the womb. When sports guys express surprise at Rhonda’s passion and depth of knowledge for her Steelers, and indeed, football in general, she has this to say: “I come from a place where there’s nothing to do in the winter but watch football!” True, Rhonda hates snow and thinks it should only be seen on the field, so she huddled indoors with her football-crazed family and breathed, sweated, and bled black and gold every season. New Castle is about 60 miles north of the ‘Burgh, and everyone their loves their team.

One of the best moments of Rhonda’s life has been shaking hands with Hines Ward. She knows only two sports seasons: Football Season and non-football season, otherwise know to her as “The Dark Times.” College football? Nah. NFL all the way!
