Biography

Sonja Fisher moved to Los Angeles two years ago from Minneapolis, Minnesota.  She has been a Viking fan for over years!  She especially loved the purple people eater days and the year the Vikes almost went to the Superbowl with Randall Cunningham.

She has been actively working in non-union feature, independent and student films.   Her recent projects include: Finishing the game where she played a featured role as a housewife in Justin Lin’s new film, Front 1F Liberation where she co-starred as an FBI Agent, As Rob Lay Dying where she co- starred as a mother, Beachhouse where she starred as a high- society girl, 86 Manners where she co-starred as a hostess, Magic Hour where she co-starred as a cafe patron, This is a Business where she was featured as a wife (Been in film festivals most recently Dances with Films in LA), Sideline Secrets where she starred as a mother, and Perfect Match where she was a featured date.   Besides films, Sonja has also been actively involved in the commercial industry with her latest commercials for Younger Eyes, Revitanew, Valley View Casino, Powerboxing, Sugar Trim and Hair shampoo can be seen on television. Recently, Sonja also shot an episode of Tales of the ER where she played a featured scrub nurse.  She also was on the Tyra Banks Show and did a photo shoot with Tyra for Lucky Magazine.  Other television appearances include LA Forensics, American Crime Investigators, and USA Before and After Movie. 

She also works as a Senior Software Consultant for a large software company in sales.

In her spare time, Sonja is a tennis player, marathon runner recently completing her 4th this year, Barbie doll collector and in the process of completing her doctorate at Argosy University. Sonja firmly believes if you work hard that dreams can come true.
