Sports Fan Podcasts has changed!

We at Sports Fan Podcasts want to give our visitors the best user experience they can have when they visit our site. To improve the user experience, we changed they layout in several ways. The new layout focusses on podcasts, and the information that is importent to know or read. Information that isn't top priority, won't be in your way untill you want to find out more. And the information that you see, will be presented in a way that takes benefits of the latest browser versions.

Improvements we made:

  • Links to other sites are no longer take your attention
With the old Sports Fan Podcasts we jumped on you with many links to other sites before you saw any podcasts. We now added these links into the sidebar. Press on "Team news" to expand or collapse the menu to see the links.

  • Easy way to switch between the podcasts and blog
The old version showed just a small link that made it possible to switch between podcasts and blog. We now made this on top of every team page, so you can switch between them more easily.

  • Select your view
Don't like to see all the details about every podcast? In the top right of every podcast-"box", you can select your prefered view. In the next few weeks, we make sure Sports Fan Podcasts reminds your setting.

  • Most recent podcast
Below every podcast page, you can see the latest podcast that has been added to Sports Fan Podcasts. So even when you don't want to visit the homepage everytime to check up on new podcasts, you can do that now on every podcast-page.

  • Webslices
In Internet Explorer 8, and with the right plugin for Firefox, you can take the best out of your browser. IE8 is currently in beta, but that didn't mean we couldn't use it already. If you already use IE8, you can take a slice of the homepage. But if you click on "keep up to date" link, that exists on every podcast page, you can use a slice of the team, or use the rss functions.

  • Instant Search
With so many teams, it might be hard to find the team of your interest. To make sure you can't get lost on Sports Fan Podcasts, we added a instant search page. When you visit the search page you can type in the team of your interest. While your typing, we already show you if we have a team page for the team your searching for. While you type, you can see if the results are the results that you're looking for, or not!
